The MCX follows in the footsteps of the HF scientific CLX chlorine analyzer and is designed to be extremely reliable, user friendly, robust and accurate. Reagents are sized in bottles to last 30 days, readily available and are lower cost with a <strong>minimum 2 year shelf life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Capital cost is also attractive and there is an option for a sequencer if you want to monitor two sample points with a single analyzer. Operating costs are lower as well with reduced costs for consumables such as reagents and improved \u201cup time\u201d. A two year manufacturer\u2019s warranty and technology with a track record of reliability really makes the MCX a great choice for monitoring chloramines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MCX is easy to maintain, more cost effective than alternative devices and is made right here in Florida. It builds on the more than 17 years of proven performance of the CLX reagent delivery and optical design while adding necessary new capabilities for the more sophisticated modified phenate measurement method. Note: Free ammonia readings are derived values. It took awhile for this unit to make it to market but we think you will agree it has been worth the wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is now a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lazenby.net\/index.php\/mcx-pocket-photometer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pocket MCX, a handheld photometer<\/a> <\/strong>which uses the same test method as the MCX, the Pocket MCX does all the same measurements as the MCX.
