1″ Spin Filter can be used to increase the filtration rating and in many cases extend the interval between necessary cleaning of filters used on the influent to an analytical instrument. For example the CLX chlorine analyzer comes with a “TEE” Strainer with a 40 mesh filter. By increasing the mesh size it is often possible to reduce the potential fouling of the intake assembly. The larger surface area of the Spin Filter can also increase the required time between cleanings allowing the process to be a schedule maintenance item in most cases.

NOTE: All Spin Filters offered include reducer bushings and fittings to facilitate use with 1/4″ OD tubing.

The mesh screens are re-usable, easily cleaned and reasonably priced. The clear screen cover is easily removed for manual cleaning. By using a valve (OPTIONAL) on the effluent side of the filter and the purge valve on the bottom the filter can be cleaned in-situ.
